Proceedings of previous international conferences organised by the Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER) since 2010 were published and accessible online in Elsevier's Procedia Social and Behavioural Sciences (ISSN: 1887-0428), www.ScienceDirect.com. Those proceedings have all been indexed in Thomson Reuter's Web of Science (WoS). The inevitable but timely birth of the Environment-Behaviour Proceedings Journal in 2016 was mainly to sustain the publication of the proceedings of forthcoming annual, serial international conferences to be organised jointly by AMER, ABRA and cE-Bs. This journal is currently indexed in Clarivate Analytics (WoS) and ScienceOPEN.

Presentation Guidelines for IMDeC2023
The following guidelines are intended for all presenters participating in parallel sessions at the upcoming conference, IMDeC2023. It is to assist the presenters in preparing for their respective presentations.
​
1. It is important to note that every parallel session will be conducted via the Cisco Webex platform. Therefore, it is recommended that presenters become acquainted with the platform to ensure the seamless delivery of their presentations.
​
2. To ensure a smooth start to your presentation, it is advised that as a presenter, you log in to Cisco Webex session 10 minutes prior to the designated start time. In case the chairperson is not present, you will be placed in a waiting room/lobby until the session begins.
​
3. As a presenter, you will be granted permission to share your screen during the session. The session chair will commence the session by introducing the session format and guidelines, which are outlined in point (a-c) below.
a) Presenters are required to prepare a maximum of 15 minutes presentation slides in Power Point Format (*.ppt / *.pptx).

​4. It is crucial that presenters adhere to the allocated time limit for their presentation, to ensure that sufficient time is available for Q&A sessions after all presentations have been delivered. In adherence to this principle, the session chair will pause presentations at the 15-minute mark.
​
5. While presentations are being delivered, both presenters and participants have the option of posing questions to the session chair through the chat feature. The session chair will compile these queries for Q&A session. Attendees are also encouraged to direct questions to other presenters during this period.
6. To facilitate a seamless Q&A session, the session chair will prompt attendees to unmute themselves before posing their questions. The session chair will call upon presenters in the order specified on the conference website during each parallel session. Be prepared if you are next in line.
PLENARY SPEAKER
Dr. Zaharuddin Abd Rahman is the founder Managing Director of Elzar Group of Companies and Elzar Shariah & Business Solutions, in addition to being an Adjunct Professor at UNISEL. A member of the Securities Commission of Malaysia's Shariah Advisory Council and the Employees Provident Fund. Additionally, he was awarded The World HalalLeadership by The BrandLaureate, Tokoh Kembara Takaful by MTA, and Upcoming Global Shariah Scholar by GIFA.
He founded several technological software solutions, including a learner and trainer platform, myclaaz.com, a certifiable online courses platform, mycourse.my, an investor relationship manager, neoinves.com, a Shariah-compliant cloud accounting software, hisabiz.com, and a digital management software, iurus.co. Raia Hotels & Convention Centres and others.
In addition, he is a member of the board of directors and a partner in a number of other firms in diverse industries, including Solar PV, Halal Slaughtering House, Peer to Peer Rent a Car, Dental Clinics & Hospital, Corporate Gift Business, and Halal Food & Beverages and also a member of Board of Directors at Raia Hotels & Convention Centres and others.
He has authored 23 books and hundreds of articles on Islamic Banking, Islamic Law, and other Shari'ah-related topics. He also advises a number of Islamic Financial Institutions and multinational corporations in Malaysia and internationally.
